Our History.

The story of Zeno Quantum began in 2012 in the business world, when its founders were working for a multinational company. In this environment, they noticed that many professionals had a disconnect between their talent and their knowledge, which limited their professional success. They had been trained in certain areas, but their natural talent pointed towards other fields. It was then that they realised that if they could identify the true talent of a professional, reorient their training, and place them in the right position, the individual would achieve success in their career.

This initial discovery led the founders to conduct further research, and they concluded that this issue did not arise once professionals entered the workforce, but much earlier, during the stage when students must make decisions about their higher education. This became a fundamental challenge for Zeno Quantum: to match each person's talent with the appropriate education, ensuring that both elements—knowledge and talent—were aligned from the start.

In 2013, they developed an initial guidance methodology using the tools available at the time. This process involved video interviews with students, detailed analysis of their responses, and non-verbal communication techniques to understand their true inclinations. To gather as much information as possible, these interviews were also extended to parents. However, it was a time-consuming process: it took three weeks to provide guidance to each student. Today, thanks to advances in technology and the development of MeOrienta, it only takes a few seconds to recommend educational pathways.

Between 2015 and 2018, the Zeno Quantum team collaborated on youth employment programmes funded by the European Social Fund. This work was crucial in consolidating the knowledge, experience, and technological advancements that formed the foundation of what is now MeOrienta. By applying early versions of this methodology, they managed to help thousands of young people who had been unemployed for years find stable jobs in just three months.

In 2017, the company developed the first version of the professional DNA, an alphanumeric representation of a person’s profile, which emerged from identifying 10 intelligences and 80 key competencies. This breakthrough enabled Zeno Quantum to identify talent patterns in a structured way. They then applied this concept to all professions, creating a professional DNA for every existing career.

Once this was achieved, they improved the process of gathering information about students through an innovative 360º assessment. This analysis involves people from various roles (parents, family members, friends, tutors, or teachers) who provide their evaluations to create a complete view of the student’s talent.

In the following years, Zeno Quantum developed matching tools to compare the DNA of students with that of professions and link each specific academic path to reach that professional goal. This development made Zeno Quantum’s academic and career guidance highly personalised and accurate.

Today, Zeno Quantum’s MeOrienta identifies a student’s academic profile through an analysis of their academic history, while their professional profile is built from the 360º assessment and self-evaluation. This allows each student to receive their own professional DNA, understand which areas and professions are the best fit for them, and choose the right educational path. Furthermore, MeOrienta provides the opportunity to explore programmes in universities and educational centres across 14 different countries.
